San Francisco: record number of bank-closures, twenty bank branches closed this year, more than the previous two years combined, and the most in a single year.
Across California, 277 bank branches have closed this year.
March 10th, failure of Silicon Valley Bank in Santa Clara. Two days later, federal regulators shut down Signature Bank in New York due to concerns over a possible panic-run.
Then Switzerland’s second largest bank, Credit Suisse, needed a government-arranged sale to avoid a similar insolvency crisis.
In May, First Republic Bank in San Francisco imploded.
Then in July, the dissolution of the small Heartland Tri-State Bank in Kansas, and four U.S. banks — two in the Bay Area collapsed this year, marking the second and third largest bank failures in American history and jeopardizing nearly $550 billion in assets, far more than the 2008 financial crisis.
Bank failures are not announced in advance. Some branches are not giving the 90-day notice required by law.
The next bank failure could be ALL BANKS.
In preparation for a total-bank collapse, Bitcoin is soaring as a safe haven from inflation and bank failures.
