The intolerable, unending present stubbornly refuses to change. Through the finite combination of allowable moves in a game of chess, while possible outcomes and counter-moves are exhaustively considered, the player is provided with the illusion of the attainability of an end goal. He merely has to move the piece. As though, one could shift the arrangements of the near future, its combination, as easily as a switch may be turned.

Imagine the future as malleable, running as liquid silver under stars, as water runs in a chute, and not a foregone conclusion. The walls of the maze are deterministic, here. The Labyrinth hypnotizes as well as confuses. What exists, while in the present, seals the fate of the near future; and then onto infinity. The dimension of the impossible, securely beyond reach, outside the scrutiny of mere mortals, on some more etherial plane, or, Etheric plane.
